Excerpt: Taking a deep breath, Sophie pulled the bow, the ribbon falling open, then began to pull the paper away. Setting the box on the table, she lifted the lid. She gasped at the red negligee sitting in the tissue paper. He leaned against the wall when she stared at him. He didn’t say anything as he crossed his arms. “Put it on.” She almost swallowed her tongue. “What? Are you seri --” “I am serious. Put it on.” Sophie stood for a moment, unsure of what to do. She held the box carefully in her now shaking hands, watching him. This was it. This was the moment she’d been waiting for. This was her chance to fulfill her fantasies of ******* Jacob Cohn. Setting the box on the gleaming hardwood table she turned back to him and slowly started to unbutton her blouse. He watched every movement of her fingers; his eyes seemed to light with pleasure when she slowly brushed the material back, exposing her lace-encased breasts. He didn’t move. He continued to stand there with his arms crossed, but she noticed he was swelling in his pants and the thought sent a shot of sexual adrenaline through her body to pierce her now-wet *****. Next she unzipped her skirt at the hip, slowly slipping the button through the hole. She let the material fall to the floor. She reached behind her and undid the hooks of her bra, pleased when he shifted a bit as her tits bounced free. Looping her fingers in the lace of her thong, she pulled the material free, stepping from the scrap of lace. Next she went to remove her heels, but Jacob’s voice stilled her movements. “Leave them on.” Rising, she tossed the thong away, turned, and grabbed the negligee from the box. It was red lace, a wisp of material. She stepped into it, pulling it slowly up her legs, over her hips, bringing the straps up her arms to rest on her shoulders. The fabric hugged her body like a second skin, concealing nothing. Her breasts and juncture were bare for his view. Finally, he stood away from the wall and came to stand in front of her.

She also shows just how other characters in the book will stop at nothing to make sure Sophie and Jacob don't get their holiday wishes of each other, or do they? Ann draws her readers in and gives them some hot and very explicit sexual content between the characters, as well as showing a bit of their life outside of the bedroom, or in this case boardroom. Anyone that reads this story will enjoy the struggle of the characters as well as how Ann shows they overcome the problems ahead.
